Assessment
Certification of the Regulated Manual Handling Course is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student.
Assessment will be through practical demonstration of efficient & safe manual handling, and a written assessment paper. Learners must successfully pass both parts of the assessment to achieve the qualification. The written assessment consists of straightforward questions, though learners are required to have at least a basic knowledge of English.
Students who complete the course & are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate. The qualification does not have an expiry date, though it is strongly recommended that refresher training is completed after three years to ensure knowledge & skills are kept up to date.
