Manual Handling
Overview
Injuries & health problems sustained from poor manual handling practices are one of the greatest contributors to long-term ill-health & absence from work. Providing your employees suitable & sufficient manual handling training raises their awareness of the risks, influences better decision-making when planning manual handling tasks, and ensures good lifting & handling techniques are followed.
This half-day training course will familiarise your employees with good manual handling practices, the risks associated with manual handling operations, and methods to better plan moving & handling tasks to minimise those risks.
This course is designed to be delivered at your premises for up to 16 learners and will require a safe location in which to complete the practical element of the course.
