Fire Safety Training

Overview

Article 21 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires employers to provide their workers suitable & sufficient fire safety training, providing an awareness of the dangers of workplace fires, and appropriate actions to be taken in the event of an emergency.

This half-day course is designed to meet these requirements, and will provide learners an understanding of how fires start & spread, actions to minimise fire risks in their workplace, and safe methods for the extinguishing of fires. This is ideally suited to learners who have responsibility for fire safety in their workplace, or have been selected to fulfill the role of Fire Warden or Fire Marshal.

This course can be delivered at your premises, or an alternative venue, for up to 16 learners.

Please note there is a practical element to this course and therefore we recommend sensible clothes and footwear are worn.

Where this course is delivered at your premises, you will need to provide an appropriate space for the practical element of the course to be safely completed.
