Face Fit Testing Train the Trainer
Overview
Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) is a key element in reducing employees’ exposure to a range of respiratory hazards in the workplace, such as dusts, fumes, vapours & biological agents. However, no matter the quality or complexity of the RPE provided, the effectiveness of its protection cannot be confirmed without the completion of a face-fit test.
This one-day course is designed to provide learners with the skills & knowledge to complete robust, detailed qualitative face-fit tests on disposable face masks, or reusable respirators, as well as effective maintenance and care for reusable items.
The course can be delivered at your premises, or an alternative venue, for up to 6 learners.
It is important that learners bring with them the type of protective masks they are likely to be fit-testing in the workplace and, if possible, their workplace face-fit testing kit. Testing kits can be provided at an additional cost.
Please note this course does not cover quantitative face-fit testing (for full face respirators), please contact us directly to discuss your requirements for quantitative fit-testing.
