Banksman
Overview
A significant number of fatal workplace accidents involve collisions between pedestrians & moving vehicles, and the risk increases considerably when large vehicles are completing reversing manoeuvres. Whilst traffic management controls can help to alleviate some of the risk presented by vehicular movements in workplaces, reversing cannot be completely ruled out and therefore it is important that safe systems of work are in place to manage these manoeuvres safely.
This one-day course is designed to provide learners the skills & knowledge to safely manage vehicle and mobile plant manoeuvres on site, reducing the risk of collisions & serious injuries.
